Remote Control Rail Transfer Cart

Factories, especially those in the manufacturing industry, can make the transportation of large workpieces and molds easier and more efficient by introducing customized Rail Transfer Carts.

This machining shop specializes in the production of large metal components, primarily large equipment parts. Every day, a large number of large, heavy semi-finished products need to be moved within the processing area. These workpieces, some weighing 25 tons and exceeding 6 meters in length, require manual labor. Previously, they relied on overhead cranes with manual assistance to move the workpieces, but this presented challenges: labor intensive work and the risk of damage.

In early 2025, the client drafted a plan to purchase a suitable mobile equipment to replace their existing transportation solution. After consulting with our company and comparing other suppliers, the client ultimately selected PEISA.

The client's main requirements were:

1. The ability to smoothly transport heavy workpieces, semi-finished products, and machine tool bases on the rail system.

2. The Rail Transfer Cart required to be safe and reliable during transportation, prioritizing worker safety.

3. The control method required to be simple and convenient.

4. The client desired a device that could be compatible with the existing rail system. Through consultation with the customer, we customized this remote-controlled Rail Transfer Cart.

1. It features a sturdy steel frame welded to national standards for high strength, stable load-bearing, and deformation-resistant performance.

2. A high-performance DC motor electronically controls forward, reverse, braking, and starting.

3. The control system features a wired control handle with an emergency button and speed adjustment for simple operation; a wireless remote control is also available.

After the equipment was installed and commissioned, the customer conducted a trial run the same day.

Several long steel structures were placed on the vehicle's deck, and the electric flatbed cart started smoothly, operating smoothly without shaking or noise.

The entire transfer process was completed independently by a single operator, taking less than half the time it would have taken to manually transfer the equipment.
