The innovative battery-powered Rail Transfer Cart system designed by PEISA for a steel structure plant consists of an active rail car pulling a non-powered trailer. The two cars adopt the same height platform design to ensure that 6-12 meter long steel plates can be placed stably, avoiding the problem of cargo overhang deformation caused by traditional single-car transportation. The system can carry up to 50 tons and is equipped with intelligent traction synchronization control, so that the front and rear cars remain absolutely consistent when starting, stopping and turning, completely solving the risk of center of gravity shift in the transportation of long materials.
