The 50-ton heavy-duty steel coil transfer cart enables efficient, automated transfers in steel-coil warehouses.
We successfully delivered a customized 50-ton heavy-duty steel coil transfer cart to the steel-coil storage facility of a large steel company. This equipment has become a core component of the facility’s logistics upgrade.
The customer’s steel-coil warehouse is extensive, requiring the daily transfer and storage of large quantities of heavy steel coils between various storage locations and access areas. Previously, this process relied on cranes and manual labor, which posed significant safety risks. The customer was seeking a solution that combined the capabilities of cranes and flatbed trucks to address the challenges of steel-coil transportation and storage.
To meet these challenges, we designed a specialized steel coil transfer cart:
High load capacity: Capable of carrying up to 50 tons and reliably transporting two large steel coils at once, doubling transportation efficiency.
Low-voltage rail power supply for continuous operation: The low-voltage rail system provides an uninterrupted power source, eliminating the need for battery recharging and enabling 24-hour operation—perfectly matching the high-intensity production schedule.
Integrated automation: A built-in PLC (programmable logic controller) interface allows seamless integration with the customer’s control system for automated, unmanned operation.
