Tire Crane
The Tire Crane is a new product evolved from the traditional crane industry. It breaks away from the conventional crane operating concept by eliminating dependence on rail systems and rail wheels, replacing them with solid rubber tires. This design provides the Tire Crane with exceptional mobility and flexibility.
Equipped with specially designed large-diameter solid tires, the Tire Crane can adapt to various terrain conditions and perform 360-degree on-the-spot rotation, diagonal travel, forward and reverse movement. It is particularly suitable for ports, cargo yards, and construction sites. The crane does not require smooth concrete surfaces; any well-compacted ground is sufficient. Moreover, it causes minimal ground damage, which is almost negligible.
Main Frame Structure of the Tire Crane:
Main Girder
The main girder is the horizontal steel beam spanning the crane. It carries the lifting mechanism and trolley, requiring high structural strength and rigidity, even under heavy-load conditions.
Wheels
The wheels form the supporting structure connecting the main girder to the base. Typically equipped with four wheels, each must provide high load-bearing capacity to stably support the total weight of the crane and cargo.
Cross Beams
Cross beams enhance overall stability by connecting the lower structure, enabling the tires to work in coordination and ensuring structural integrity.
Lifting System of the Tire Crane:
Drum
A cylindrical component around which the steel wire rope is wound. It is responsible for lifting and lowering loads. The wire rope is designed for high tensile strength and wear resistance.
Hook or Lifting Attachment
The component used to directly lift and secure the load.
Motor and Braking System
Powered by electric or hydraulic drive, depending on customer requirements and design specifications. This system ensures smooth, controlled, and safe lifting and lowering operations.
