Definition and Core Concept

A Rubber Tire Crane is a hybrid lifting system that combines the structural advantages of a traditional gantry crane with the mobility of rubber wheels. It is also commonly referred to as a Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane.
Equipped with solid rubber tires as its traveling mechanism, the crane can move flexibly on flat ground without the need for rail tracks. This makes it especially suitable for operations that require frequent relocation of heavy loads.

Core Functions

1. Rubber-tired mobility
   The wheeled gantry crane can travel smoothly on compacted and level ground. With off-road–type rubber tires, it can operate not only on concrete surfaces but also on other hardened ground conditions.

2. Wide application range
   It is suitable for container handling in ports, transportation of heavy vehicles, and movement of construction materials in urban construction sites.

3. High load capacity
   Capable of handling equipment and containers with loads ranging from 1 to 80 tons, ensuring efficient and stable heavy-duty transportation.

4. Lifting and stacking capability
   The RTG Rubber Tire Crane integrates vertical lifting with horizontal movement. With a lifting height of 1–5 meters, it enables both transportation and stacking of cargo, improving operational efficiency and space utilization.
