What does a coil transfer cart in a casting plant?
In the foundry, the coil transfer cart plays a crucial role. It is mainly the handling and transfer of complex steel coils.
The main functions of the steel coil transfer cart:
1. Transport the steel coil. Coil transfer trolleys are mainly designed to handle steel coils of various sizes and weights, which may be raw materials or semi-finished products required in the casting process. Through advanced handling technology, the transfer vehicle can easily and efficiently move the coil, reduce the labor intensity of manual handling, and improve production efficiency.
2. Protect coil and ground. In the process of handling, the steel coil transfer cart uses special structures and materials (countertop mounted V-frame, countertop laid rubber, etc.) to ensure that the steel coil does not receive damage scratches or crushing.
3. Flexible transfer. Coil carts usually have forward, backward, turning and other functions, which can be flexibly transported between different areas and stations in the foundry.
The significance of the use of steel coil car.
1. Improve production efficiency and reduce labor intensity.
The use of steel coil transfer trolleys helps the factory to improve the efficiency of steel coil handling and transfer. Traditional manual transportation is time-consuming and laborious. And some steel coil transfer carts can also add automated handling methods, which helps to improve the overall production efficiency.
2. Protect equipment and products. During the handling process, the coil transfer car can ensure stability and safety to avoid product damage.
