The Rail Transfer Cart is a product within the DPX series. It is powered by lead-acid batteries, which supply energy to a DC drive motor that propels the vehicle along its tracks. As products in the DPX series operate on a rail system, they offer a higher load-carrying capacity compared to trackless vehicles. The rated load capacity ranges from 1 to 1,500 tons.
The rail transport car is now successfully operating at our customer’s factory, delivering efficient and reliable material handling for workshop operations.
Recently, our custom-designed 5-ton Rail Transfer Cart was delivered and commissioned at the customer’s production site. As shown in the on-site photos, the equipment features a bright yellow exterior and a heavy-duty structural design, delivering stable and smooth performance on workshop rails. With a rated load capacity of 5 tons, it provides a secure platform for transporting heavy materials.
This rail transport car is engineered for heavy-duty industrial applications. Built with a high-strength steel frame and professional rail-running system, it safely carries heavy loads and satisfies the daily material handling demands of the workshop. The platform is fitted with rubber pads to protect transported materials from scratches and damage. The unit is also equipped with safety warning signs, rear signal lights and other safety features, fully complying with industrial safety standards.
According to customer feedback, the rail transport car runs smoothly with accurate positioning, effectively solving the problems of low efficiency and poor safety associated with traditional handling methods. It has greatly improved workshop logistics efficiency and operational reliability.

As shown in the picture, the electrical cabinet and charging port are located at one end of the transfer cart, which makes maintenance and charging more convenient and efficient.
To further improve safety, four mechanical anti-collision buffers are installed at both the front and rear ends of the Rail Transfer Cart, providing additional protection during operation.
In addition, two sound and light alarm lamps are installed underneath both ends of the cart. When the transfer cart is moving, the alarms emit warning sounds and flashing lights to remind surrounding workers and ensure safer operation in the working area.
These safety designs help improve the reliability and operational safety of the rail transfer cart in industrial environments.
