It was ordered by a professional client in the steel industry, who needed a single piece of equipment with both load-bearing and towing capabilities.
We fully delivered on the client’s vision with this custom unit: the rail transfer cart boasts a 150-ton traction capacity and a 50-ton load capacity, designed specifically for outdoor trailer towing at the client’s steel plant. It runs on a low-voltage rail power supply system, meaning it can operate at any time without sudden shutdowns caused by low battery power—eliminating all downtime risks from power shortages.
High customization is at the core of this design, built to match the client’s exact operational needs and solve on-site pain points. We added a compact operating cabin on top of the cart’s platform, fully equipped with all necessary controls: speed adjustment, windshield wiper, main power switch, cooling fan, headlights, emergency stop button and more, perfectly aligning with the client’s daily usage requirements.
While the cart functions as a heavy-duty load platform, the built-in operating cabin allows operators to work comfortably outdoors, no matter the weather—whether in sweltering heat or cold winter conditions. This rail flat cart also offers exceptional safety features, including a thickened steel plate platform, IP54 protection rating, highly visible red emergency stop mushroom button, air conditioning and fan, laser radar, safety contact edges and more.
Operators can monitor the entire surrounding area clearly from inside the cabin and control the cart smoothly until it reaches the designated position safely.
