10-Ton Battery-Powered Mold Transfer Cart

This mold transfer cart was manufactured for export to Romania (EU). The client is a consumer goods manufacturer that uses molds in its production workshop, and transporting these molds was a key challenge in their daily operations.

When the client first contacted us, the project was already urgent. Through close communication and cooperation, we completed production and delivery within just 14 days. After commissioning and testing, all functions were confirmed to be operating correctly. The 10-ton mold transfer cart has now been successfully delivered to the client.

Customer Requirement:

The biggest challenge in this project was the cart's overall dimensions, as the client required a highly compact design.

Why Was a Compact Design Required?

After discussions with the client, we confirmed that the overall dimensions could not be increased due to the limited width of the warehouse aisles. If the mold transfer cart were too wide or too long, it would be difficult to navigate turns and move smoothly through the aisles.

How PEISA Solved the Space Limitation

With the support of our engineering team, we developed a compact layout that integrated all components within the limited internal space. We also incorporated forklift pockets, making the cart easier to handle and relocate. This design not only met the client's mold transportation requirements but also simplified the handling and delivery of the equipment.

Battery and Remote Control System

1. We selected a high-capacity lead-acid battery, providing 4–6 hours of continuous operation, which was sufficient to meet the client's usage requirements over a two-day period.

2. The unit is equipped with two remote controls, allowing workers to operate the equipment from a safe distance.
