Rail Transfer Cart For Steel Pipes

This is a versatile material handling and transportation solution for the transportation of heavy materials such as steel structures and rebar.

Rail cart design analysis

First of all, in terms of load-bearing capacity, according to the needs of customers for transporting workpieces, a rail cart with a load capacity of 10 tons is designed. Because the rail transfer carts transport not only the steel structure but also the rebar, we have carried out special treatment on the platform, adding V-shaped grooves, which help to safely transport the rebar.

In the process of transportation, the rail cart needs to change the direction, we recommend to customers to use the turntable car to change the direction of transportation, do not need complex track layout, save manpower and material resources.

Why choose a combination of rail transfer carts and turntable carts?

Rail transfer carts travel along fixed tracks, ensuring smooth operation; they are well-suited for long-distance transport along fixed routes, though they are limited to straight-line movement—unable to turn or make U-turns—resulting in limited flexibility. The introduction of turntable carts enables these rail carts to execute turns at any angle, including full 360-degree rotations.
