Anhui Steel Structure Factory 10-Ton Rail Transfer Cart Case Study

A steel structure factory in Anhui needed to move steel components weighing 1–10 tons between different workstations. They had not found suitable equipment before, which resulted in low efficiency and safety risks.

Their workshop already had existing 1.5-meter gauge tracks. Re-laying the tracks would be expensive and disruptive to production. After understanding their situation, we customized this 10-ton Rail Transfer Cart for them. It perfectly fits the existing tracks and can be used immediately without any modifications.

This cart has a rated load capacity of 10 tons. Whether it is a small 1-ton component or a large 10-ton component, one cart can handle it all, eliminating the need to purchase additional equipment. To allow the workshop to operate continuously, we equipped it with a 200Ah high-capacity battery, allowing it to run for up to 3 days on a single charge, fully supporting multiple production shifts and eliminating the need for frequent charging interruptions.

Considering the large number of people and heavy workpieces in the workshop, we added anti-collision posts to both the front and rear of the trolley. In the event of an accidental collision, these posts effectively absorb the impact, protecting the equipment and steel structures from damage while also ensuring the safety of the operators.

The wheels undergo high-temperature quenching and bluing treatment, maximizing rigidity and toughness. They operate very stably under heavy loads, are not easily worn, and have an overall service life of more than 10 years.
