A newly built steel plant has finished workshop construction and has now started partial production. However, the factory encountered problems in the cross-regional transfer of steel materials, especially the transportation of materials between the production workshop and the storage warehouse. Therefore, the customer planned to purchase a 20-ton rail transfer cart.

The factory had already laid the required track infrastructure in advance, with a standard track gauge of 1435mm. Our DPX model was able to fully meet the customer’s needs.

This equipment adopts a rail-guided design, with a fixed and stable running route. It effectively avoids the problems of deviation and jolting that often occur with trackless transfer carts, and provides good protection against collision and damage to the transported steel materials. In addition, the cart is equipped with a remote control system, allowing a single operator to control it remotely. This greatly reduces labor intensity and improves handling efficiency. Anti-collision buffers are installed at both the front and rear of the cart to further improve operation safety and avoid accidental collisions that may damage equipment or materials.

After the rail transfer trolley was delivered and installed, the commissioning work was completed quickly and the equipment was put into use immediately. It effectively solved the customer’s key problem of heavy steel material transfer in the new factory.

The solution not only made full use of the existing track infrastructure to avoid additional construction costs, but also realized the safe, stable and continuous transportation of heavy materials up to 20 tons, laying a solid logistics foundation for the factory’s subsequent full-capacity production.
