200-Ton Rail Transfer Cart

This rail transfer cart was designed and manufactured by PEISA Machinery. It will serve as a "bridge" connecting two processing workshops, transporting materials from inside one facility, across an outdoor area, and into the other workshop.

As you can see from the images, this design is highly ergonomic and user-friendly. While the unit is primarily controlled via a wireless remote, a dedicated operator cabin has been specifically integrated into the platform. This ensures that—in accordance with the factory's operational principle of maintaining continuous production regardless of weather conditions—personnel remain protected from rain and snow.

Since this project involves the transport of molten steel ladles, the rail transfer cart is designed to tow a specialized rail-mounted trailer positioned behind it. High-temperature materials are loaded onto this trailer, which is then towed by the cart to its destination.

To ensure uninterrupted operation, a backup battery system has been specifically installed. The battery units are accessible and removable from the top of the platform, and the design of the operator cabin does not interfere with the removal process.
