Operating Principle of the Cable Drum Rail Transfer Cart
The DPJ series cable drum rail transfer cart operates on a fixed rail system and uses a cable power supply method. One end of the cable is connected to the factory’s AC power source, while the other end is connected to the cart’s electrical control cabinet. A motorized or spring-loaded cable reel is used to manage the cable extension and retraction during operation.
When the cart moves forward, the cable reel releases the cable smoothly according to the travel distance. During reverse movement, the reel automatically winds the cable back in synchronization with the cart’s movement.
A hysteresis or magnetic coupling device is applied to maintain stable cable tension, preventing excessive pulling force, cable twisting, tangling, or premature wear. The transfer cart is driven by an AC motor, while the 36V low-voltage control system improves operational safety and reliability.
