This 30-ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart was customized for a Saudi Arabian customer as a dedicated solution for heavy equipment transfer in a space-constrained factory environment. With its precise dimensional design and flexible omnidirectional movement capabilities, it effectively resolves the customer’s transfer challenges and has become a benchmark case for customized heavy material handling solutions in overseas markets.
The customer is a heavy industry company based in Saudi Arabia. Their core requirement was the efficient transfer of heavy equipment within the factory. However, limited workshop space imposed extremely high demands on both the equipment’s size and steering performance: the cart dimensions needed to precisely match the cargo specifications to minimize space occupation, and the equipment required highly flexible steering to operate in narrow areas. Conventional transfer equipment, in terms of both steering mechanism and overall dimensions, could not meet these requirements.
To address the customer’s key pain points, we custom-designed a 30-ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart. First, the cart body was precisely designed to match the cargo dimensions, ensuring a close fit between the equipment and the load. This significantly reduced space occupation during transfer and allowed smooth operation within the workshop’s narrow aisles. At the same time, we replaced traditional steering systems with four independent steering wheel units. Each wheel can rotate independently, enabling omnidirectional movement functions such as lateral travel and in-place rotation. This design eliminates the need for large turning radii and allows the cart to freely adjust its travel direction in confined spaces, easily completing the full process of heavy equipment lifting, steering, and positioning.
After delivery, the equipment was put into operation in the customer’s workshop in Saudi Arabia. With a rated load capacity of 30 tons, the cart can stably transport various types of heavy equipment. The precise dimensional design allows smooth movement through narrow passages, while the omnidirectional mobility provided by the four independent steering wheels completely resolves steering challenges in space-limited environments, significantly improving overall transfer efficiency. The customer expressed high appreciation for the equipment’s adaptability, flexibility, and stability.
This 30-ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart has become a representative example of customized solutions for overseas customers with special site conditions, fully demonstrating the value of tailored design in the field of heavy material handling.
