Customized 36-Ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart for a Long-Term Qingdao Client

This is a customized piece of equipment—an Omnidirectional Transfer Cart—designed for one of our long-term clients.

Client Background: Based in Qingdao, China, this client is primarily engaged in wind power project construction, as well as the production and transportation of various heavy electrical materials. They have extremely high requirements for their material handling equipment.

Prior to this collaboration, the client had repeatedly purchased our DWP-30-ton trackless transfer trolley. The previous equipment operated stably in their factory with virtually no malfunctions. We also provided timely technical support, and over time, this built a strong foundation of trust between us—earning consistent praise from the client for the quality of our products.

This project was a new procurement for another one of their workshops. Their requirements were clear: a vehicle with a 36-ton load capacity, capable of moving forward and backward, traversing laterally, and rotating 360 degrees on the spot. Upon receiving the client’s requirements, we immediately proposed a solution—the Omnidirectional Transfer Cart. This equipment meets all of the client’s needs and is equipped with a large-capacity battery, supporting up to 3 days of continuous operation.

This 36-ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart is powered by a system of 4 independent steering wheels. Each steering wheel can be controlled individually and steered flexibly—this is the key to its omnidirectional movement capability.

The entire vehicle is equipped with a Siemens PLC control system, ensuring stable operation and precise control. Whether moving forward, backward, left, right, or rotating in place, it operates smoothly without vibration.
