Today, we're sharing a real-world case study of our customized Transfer Cart with Lifting Platform for a Brazilian client. The core of our solution was helping them overcome the major challenge of transferring steel pipes and square tubes between workshops, genuinely reducing costs and improving efficiency – with tangible, visible results.

Client Background

Let’s first introduce our Brazilian client. They specialize in the processing and warehousing of various steel pipes and square tubes, and frequently need to transport these materials between different workshops. What seemed like a routine material handling task had long been a major headache for the client.

Previously, the client had installed cranes in their factory, expecting them to solve all handling issues. However, during actual operation, they discovered a critical limitation: cranes cannot move between workshops.

This meant that after steel pipes and square tubes were processed in one workshop, they had to be lifted by crane to the workshop entrance, then transferred to another workshop manually or using other equipment. This extra step wasted time and labor, while also increasing the risk of material damage.

Later, the customer found our trackless lifting transfer cart series through our official website. Impressed by our extensive experience in heavy-duty material handling, they proactively contacted us, hoping we could provide a practical solution to the pain points of cross-workshop transfer for steel pipes and square tubes.

Based on the customer’s core needs – transferring steel pipes and square tubes across workshops without repeated handling, ensuring stable transportation and preventing damage – we developed a tailored solution using our hydraulic lifting transfer cart, a custom-designed vehicle specifically for their application scenario.

First and foremost, the most direct benefit is that it completely solves the cross-workshop transfer problem, breaking the limitation that cranes cannot move between workshops. The hydraulic lifting transfer cart is trackless and can move freely between workshops, eliminating the need for repeated material handling.

Previously, moving a batch of steel pipes from Workshop A to Workshop B required crane lifting, manual assistance, and additional transfer equipment. The whole process needed at least 2–3 people and took more than an hour, resulting in extremely low efficiency.

With this hydraulic lifting transfer cart, operators only need to neatly arrange steel pipes and square tubes on the platform, then control the vehicle via wireless remote control to move between workshops. The entire process can be completed by just one person, with transfer time reduced to less than 20 minutes – greatly saving labor and time costs.

The lifting stroke of this hydraulic lifting transfer cart is flexibly adjustable between 10–30 cm. The hydraulic system runs smoothly, with no shaking or tilting during lifting and lowering. Materials on the platform remain stable, preventing collisions and slippage throughout the process. This fully resolves the issue of material damage during previous transfers and reduces unnecessary losses for the customer.

The wireless remote control further improves operational convenience and safety. Operators can remotely control the vehicle’s lifting, movement, and parking without close contact with heavy materials, avoiding the safety risks of manual near-distance operation, protecting personnel safety, and lowering the customer’s safety management costs.

This transfer cart with lifting platform is highly durable, perfectly adapted to the workshop environment of our Brazilian client’s factory. It requires minimal maintenance, with no frequent repairs or parts replacements needed. In the long run, it significantly reduces maintenance costs and delivers exceptional cost performance.

On the first day of operation, the customer reported a substantial improvement in transfer efficiency. One person can easily complete cross-workshop transfers, eliminating the need for multiple workers to handle materials repeatedly. In addition, materials are held very stably on the platform without any damage.

The customer also sent us videos and photos of the equipment in use at their factory.
